Average woman spends 35 minutes per day on daily beauty regime

Research by Elastoplast® Invisible Protection, reveals that the average woman spends 35 minutes on her daily beauty regime before work or college. However they also found that many women are actually spending hours perfecting their looks each day, especially at weekends.

Having a wardrobe crisis is common with 54% experiencing a ‘clothes on, clothes off’ C.O.C.O moment – changing outfits 3 times or more before deciding on a final look. The look they all want. whether it is Kylie Minogue’s smooth legs, Holly Willoughby’s beautiful hair and J-Lo’s perfect tan.

The researched also showed that women are willing to suffer for their looks. Over half of women will risk pain and blisters for the sake of looking their best in their high heels. Nearly a quarter claim to have worn a bra that is too tight or uncomfortable because it makes them look better in their clothes. Just under a quarter of girls have worn ‘Bridget Jones’ control pants to look better in a dress, with women in their late twenties the most likely to wear them!

9 out of 10 women shave their legs to get rid of unwanted hair, and a sneaky 47% admit to using their boyfriend’s razor without telling them – often leading to nicks and cuts. Nearly half of women feel the need to cover up their legs with the help of tights or leggings to hide shaving mistakes, whilst nearly a third use an everyday plaster to conceal a nick – often drawing more attention to the area!

Dannii Minogue using Bee Venom Mask alternative to Botox

Stacey Solomon may not have won the X Factor but mentor Dannii Minogue is still smiling, thanks to a revolutionary new product made from bee venom.

The Aussie judge criticised for overusing Botox has now turned to the organic alternative produced by beautician to the stars, Deborah Mitchell.

Dannii, aged 38, who was criticised during the last series of X Factor for appearing too plastic due to her overuse of Botox injections, has even highlighted the Bee Venom Mask produced as part of the organic Heaven range on her blog, claiming it really is “an alternative to Botox”.

However, avoid too much red on Xmas day when relationships need to be harmonious as red can also be confrontational. Wear a gorgeous red dress or surround yourself with red decorations and plants.

Holly Willoughby looks lovely in pink red, Cheryl Cole looks stunning in bright red and Katy Perry smoulders in dark burgundy red.

Are you feeling the Xmas strain, stress levels running high? Then get into some blue! It releases oxytocin a hormone that relaxes the nervous system. Coral is a beautiful colour for red heads with pale skin-tone like Nicola Roberts, bright orange makes golden skins glow like Jennifer Aniston’s and orange red is stunning on Beyonce’s dark skin.
